Community Guidelines
Last updated: May 27, 2026
Drizzle is a place for people living with autoimmune disorders to find support, share experiences, and not feel alone. These guidelines keep it safe and kind. By using Drizzle you agree to follow them, alongside our Terms of Service.
The short version
Be supportive. Be honest. Be safe. Don't harm others.
What Drizzle is for
- Sharing your experiences, questions, wins, and hard days.
- Giving and receiving peer support and encouragement.
- Connecting with others who understand what you're going through.
What's not allowed
- Harassment and bullying. No targeting, threatening, demeaning, or following users to upset them.
- Hate speech. No attacks or slurs based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age.
- Content that encourages self-harm. Sharing your own struggles with self-harm, disordered eating, or suicidal feelings to seek support is welcome and important. Encouraging, instructing, or glorifying self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders is not allowed and will be removed.
- Dangerous medical misinformation. Don't present yourself as a medical professional if you aren't, and don't share information you know to be false in a way that could endanger someone's health. Personal experience ("this helped me") is fine; "stop your treatment and do this instead" directed at others is not.
- Spam, ads, and solicitation. No advertising, selling products or services, MLM, fundraising spam, or off-platform solicitation.
- Privacy violations. Don't share other people's private or identifying information without consent. Don't screenshot and repost private messages to harass someone.
- Impersonation. Don't pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
- Illegal content and activity. Including the sale of regulated/illegal substances and any sexual content involving minors (which we report to authorities).
- Platform abuse. No scraping, automated access, attempts to break security, or evading blocks/bans.
A note on medical advice
Drizzle is peer support, not medical advice. Nothing here replaces a qualified healthcare provider. Please don't ask others to diagnose you or tell you to change your treatment, and please be careful about advice you give. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. See our Medical Disclaimer.
Crisis support
If you or someone you're talking to may be in crisis, Drizzle will show crisis-support resources. Please use them. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Drizzle is not an emergency service.
How we enforce
- You can block anyone (they can't see you or contact you) and report content or users.
- Reports go to our moderation team. We may remove content, warn, suspend, or ban accounts depending on severity and history.
- Serious safety issues (credible threats, content involving minors) may be escalated to authorities.
If you think we got a moderation decision wrong, email hello@joindrizzle.com.
Updates
We may update these guidelines as the community grows. We'll post material changes in the app.
